Tickets are currently available for the shows featuring:
Barbara Nice Lindsey Santoro Tony Law Adam Bloom
Tom Ward Jimmy Cricket
Friday 13th September 2024
Our annual Barbara Nice show is becoming a bit of a tradition now. Absolutely brilliant and always incredibly popular, this show will take place at Park Hall, rather than the usual village hall, so that we can offer another 50 tickets on top of the usual 100 per show.

The first show back after the summer break - hopefully this will be just what we need to get us all in a good mood as the nights get darker and the weather gets colder!

Adam Beardsmore will be opening the show.
Adam is an act we have been trying to get to Hollywood for several years now, but it never quite goes to plan. Hopefully this time it will.
Dom Bant has been performing on the local comedy circuit for about 5 years now but will be making his Hollywood debut on this show.
Also performing will be the ever-present regulars Mat Taylor, Seán Taylor and Damon Conlan.

When Lindsey Santoro isn't appearing on TV (most recently as a guest on Mel Giedroyc's show Unforgivable), you might find her on tour, winning awards at the Edinburgh Festival, or supporting other comedians like Joe Lycett or Russell Kane.

Luckily for us, on Friday 20th September you can find her at Alvechurch Village Hall, supported by stars of the Midlands comedy circuit Jonathan Hipkiss, Tom Towelling (formerly of Good Kids) and character comedian Richard Dadd.

"Bags of talent." - Jasper Carrott

"One of the most naturally hysterical and gifted comedians in recent memory." - Joe Lycett

For our Birmingham Comedy Festival show this year, we decided to book the hugely popular Canadian comedian Tony Law. You may have seen Tony on TV (he's done lots of telly - I won't list all the shows here - it's listed on Wikipedia) - anyway, we thought he'd be a great booking for our big festival show.
Then we discovered that our usual venue for the festival wasn't going to be available, so rather than cancel the booking, we decided we'd just have a year off from the Comedy Festival and bring Tony to Wythall instead.

What this means is that you can now see Tony Law at the Village Hall instead of having to travel over the border into Birmingham. It's going to be great. There are, however, as always with the Village Hall, only 100 tickets available.

For the last show of 2024 we're pulling out all the stops to make this a show to remember.

Adam Bloom is a winner of the Time Out Comedy Award and one of Britain’s most exciting and original stand up comedians. He has performed seven sold out solo runs at the Edinburgh Festival and a 29-date, sell-out tour of the UK. He has also been on Mock the Week, The Stand Up Show, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Russell Howard’s Good News.

Joining Adam will be our special guest Okse, plus Hollywood regulars Damon Conlan, Richard Dadd and Abbie Hale.

It's going to be brilliant.

The new year gets off to a great start with headliner Tom Ward.

Tom is an award winning comedian from London. He has appeared on Live at The Apollo, Roast Battle, Stand up Central, Live From The Comedy Store, QI and twice on The Stand Up Sketch Show. We're really excited to have booked him for this show.

This show also sees the return of the always popular Jules O'Brian to Hollywood, and Jimmy Ennis will also be making his annual January appearance, along with Hollywood newcomer Harrison Thomas.

We hope this will be the start of another great year.

Remember when Jimmy Cricket used to have his own TV show in the 1980s? Maybe some of you do. If you don't... well, he did. He was incredibly famous - a proper household name. He was also a regular on all the Royal Variety shows that we used to watch.

Well, after 50 years as a stand-up comedian, he has finally made it to Wythall Village Hall.
This is going to be a show to remember.

And there's more...

As well as Jimmy, Kevin Daniel will be returning to Hollywood. Also performing will be Mat and Sean, and our regular comedy magician Damon Conlan.

We're selling the 100 tickets for this show at the special price of £12.50 each. As usual, there's no booking fee and the bar will be cheap!

*Support acts may not always be as advertised on the poster, but headline acts will not change.
In the very rare case where a headline act has to withdraw from a show, ticketholders will be notified by email and given the choice of either a refund or the or the option of transferring their ticket to another show.
